Clock the kitten may be tiny in size, but she possesses the most courage. Her joy is immeasurable when she finds herself in a cozy and loving home.

Jen Marder, a volunteer at Wrenn Rescues, stumbled upon a plea from shelter volunteers seeking a temporary home for a litter of kittens.
Although already occupied caring for other foster cats, Jen decided to spread the word within the rescue community. “They were just too adorable. I was sure someone would volunteer,” Jen revealed to Love Meow.
As days passed and her current fosters found their forever families, Jen couldn’t shake the image of the five kittens still waiting at the shelter. “I couldn’t resist. I knew I had to help them,” she recalled, ultimately agreeing to take them in.
After spending a couple of weeks at the shelter, the cat mom and her kittens finally found a loving foster home with @jenfosterskittens. Unfortunately, they were all in rough shape – malnourished and struggling with upper respiratory infections. Clock, the runt of the litter, was particularly tiny compared to her siblings Hickory, Dickory, and Dock. “When they arrived, I was taken aback by their condition. The kittens, who were around 6-8 weeks old, were so frail. Clock, in particular, was the size of a 3-week-old kitten.”

Goose, the tiny cat mama, was just one year old and weighed a mere 5.4 pounds. Jen described her as a loving girl who enjoys rubbing against her and snuggling up by her leg.
“Clock was the runt of the litter. I was concerned about her survival, but she had a strong will. She refused to give up, and I was determined not to give up on her either.”
At @jenfosterskittens, there’s a special kitten named Clock who stands out with her adorable overbite. Jen lovingly helped Clock by feeding her through a syringe for a while, giving her the nutrition and care she needed to thrive. Eventually, Clock grew strong enough to attempt eating by herself, and Jen felt a wave of relief and hope when she saw her nibbling at the syringe. It was a heartwarming moment that reassured Jen that Clock would be just fine.
@jenfosterskittens shared an update on Clock, noting that in just under a fortnight, Clock has practically doubled in weight, sporting a noticeable food belly. Not only that, but Clock’s big ears are starting to fit her growing body. The process wasn’t easy, but with a lot of effort and dedication, @jenfosterskittens was able to get Clock and her siblings healthy and at their ideal weights.

Clock is thriving like a fresh feline with her big appetite, bright eyes and nose, and energy to spare in her steps. Despite her severe overbite, she doesn’t let it get in the way of enjoying her meals.
“Over the next few weeks, we’ll have her mouth examined along with other consultations. But for now, she’s a delightful, cheerful, and seemingly typical little kitty.”

Clock is now the quickest to reach the food dish and is the second largest kitten in the group, following Dock. Her charming character is starting to show.
While the other kittens seek comfort from Mother Goose by nursing, Clock opts for kitten food.
According to Jen from @jenfosterskittens, this little kitten is full of energy and charm. She enjoys playing with her mom and siblings by swatting at their tails, and she’s always the first one to snuggle up in Jen’s lap. Despite her small size, she has a strong will to live and thrive. Jen was amazed at how she managed to survive and thrive despite the odds stacked against her. This tiny but mighty kitten is a true fighter with a strong spirit.
Clock is a brave little one and always brimming with energy, as seen on @jenfosterskittens. Just five days back, Clock proudly became a member of the two-pound club, quite an accomplishment for her. Mother Goose is also flourishing alongside her adorable quartet, transforming into a lovable cuddle bug who can’t resist rubbing against her foster mom whenever she enters the room.
Clock has officially become a member of the 2-pound club! @jenfosterskittens shared a heartwarming moment where Goose snuggled in their arms for over five minutes, enjoying all the head scratches. Goose eagerly responds to their calls and still has that playful kitten energy. In summary, Clock is truly a precious gem in their eyes.
