They welcomed a cat in when she needed it the most. Soon after, she had five precious lives by her side.

A black-and-white cat had been wandering a neighborhood, searching for food and shelter. Kind-hearted locals noticed she was pregnant and reached out for help.
That’s when the Stray Cat Club stepped in and started looking for her family. When no one came forward, they didn’t hesitate to take her in. “Remy (the cat) came to us as a heavily pregnant stray, with no microchip,” the Stray Cat Club shared.
“Thanks to the quick work of our volunteers, she didn’t have to deliver her kittens outside and alone.”

Without missing a beat, Remy went into labor one afternoon. “She quietly brought five perfect kittens into the world.”
She instantly embraced her role as a mother, nursing her babies, keeping them warm, and making sure every toe bean was clean. She was incredibly loving and attentive, grateful to have a safe haven to raise her young.

Thanks to her rescuers, those kittens never knew the dangers of life outside. “Instead, they were born safe, warm, and loved.”
For the first few weeks, Remy rarely left their side. Though barely more than a kitten herself, she was a devoted mother, not just to her own babies but also to another she later took in.

That kitten was Jackdaw, a tiny house panther who arrived at the rescue needing urgent care. Once he was nursed back to health, he longed for companionship, and Remy was quick to provide it.
She accepted him as her own, and her kittens followed her lead. They played, snuggled, and treated him like he’d always been part of the crew.

With a doting mom and a caring foster family, the kittens flourished.
Even after being weaned, they often returned to their mom between naps and playtime for comfort. Remy never turned them away. She continued to offer warmth, love, and attention, especially to the runt of the litter.

“Courvoisier (the gray kitten) is the tiniest of the litter of five. He’s struggled with some stomach issues that made it hard for him to grow at the same space as his siblings. Over the last few weeks, he’s made gradual improvements and is slowly putting on weight.”
Remy showered him with extra love, while the foster family supplemented his feedings.

Today, Courvoisier is a confident little kitten with a giant heart. He’s playful, fearless, and incredibly affectionate. He holds his own with the bigger kittens, adores belly rubs, and is completely smitten with his mom.
“As he’s feeling better, his personality is also really shining through.”

Now that Remy has almost finished raising her last litter, she’s playing like a kitten again and spending more time doing what she loves. “She is sweet, affectionate, and playful. She loves lounging in her hammock by the window and getting pets.”
After all the love she’s given, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled.

No longer roaming the streets or fighting to survive, Remy is thriving as an indoor cat. She’s living her best life, surrounded by those who make her world feel whole.
