In early December 2024, one social media post raised all sorts of warnings for animal lovers in Winnipeg, Canada. Dedicated cat lover Laura G. was alerted to the situation occurring in a local home. A mama cat had given birth to a litter of 6 kittens and the human “family” was not thrilled at. In fact, they were threatening the fragile new lives if they weren’t “removed from the home immediately” Laura posted. How horrible to imagine someone would be okay wiping out 6 new lives simply because they were too lazy to find an appropriate caregiver. But another actual loving family pulled them and cared for them until the organization arrived. So Laura stepped up like she has done countless times. And that’s how they became the Brady Bunch; cat edition.
The Brady Bunch, evicted from one home and separated, find each other again in foster care.
Now let me preface this by saying foster mom Laura gets some of the cutest photos of the felines in her care. Maybe its a special reaction to the love she showers on them. But whatever it is, her social media feeds are a visual, fluffy treat of cuteness. So the Brady Bunch litter had numerous photos to choose from for this introduction.
✨ Introducing ✨Bobby – Peter – Greg – Cindy – Jan – Marcia – Truthfully, no theme could fit here besides the Brady Bunch!

A team worked together to secure their safety, and they will be staying with me for the next little while so they can grow and learn some independence. Welcome to the good life babies, so happy to have you. A massive thank you to the family who saw the post and was quick to act, as well as Grateful friends for agreeing to take them and reaching out to me for help during their first phase of rescue!
Sadly, mama cat was NOT with her babies when they were pulled to safety. But the next day, she was happily reunited with her younglings in Laura’s home. She could now care for her last litter as mama Brady, “Carol”.
A bunch of kittens in varying sizes.
One would imagine that a litter of young siblings would be of similar size, but not in this case! Yes, there may be a runt but this group seems to have addressed every “demeowgraphic” age size. (wink wink)

Marcia and Bobby
Admittedly I was expecting some much smaller babies, these 6 are all over the map! I estimate they’re just over 4 weeks of age 🤍
The littlest boy and girl (Bobby and Cindy) currently weigh in the mid 200’s; the middle boy and girl (Peter and Jan) in the mid 300’s and our biggest boy and girl (Greg and Marcia) at almost 500 grams.

They’re also at varying stages as far as eating and litter box usage is concerned, with some kittens happily eating wet food and using the litter box while others require a bottle and potty wherever 🤷♀️
Finding strength in family.
By the end of January 2025, the babes had began to reach the all important spay/neuter stage. Since their sizes differed so much, it’s like waiting for flowers to bloom, you never know which one will be first.
The time has almost come for these kids to graduate and move on to furever, can you believe it ?!? Sweet, outgoing and confident Greg was just neutered and will be ready to head home this weekend ✨ Momma Carol, Marcia and Jan will all be spayed next week and should be ready to head home once they’ve healed, while Peter, Bobby and Cindy will be fixed Feb 6th (weight dependent).
And it was literally only 2 days later that Laura announced some adorably wonderful news online!
✨ Adopted ✨A big congrats and happy adoption day to cuties Bobby & Greg 🥳 These two have been tight since day one, and now they get to spend furever together! Talk about a happily ever after 😊

Adoption Day for Greg and Bobby!
I had to include intake photos here cause OMG their glow ups are ⭐️ chefs kiss ⭐️
The happy surprises weren’t done just yet though! Because the next day after that, she had ANOTHER wonderful announcement.
Jan and Peter have officially left the building. Jan is home with her family, including a kitty and doggo sibling while Peter has a perfect little older kitty brother desperate for someone to play with!
In case you’ve lost track, we’ve had 4 adoptions this week leaving Cindy and Marcia still here and still looking! If you are in the market for an incredibly social little girl (or two) I highly recommend them!
