A man stumbled upon a young cat alone in a parking lot and helped give her the life she deserved.

A kind-hearted man spotted a tiny kitten wandering alone in the back of a parking lot. As he approached, he noticed she was barely moving and in need of urgent help.
He looked around for any sign of her mother or siblings, but she was completely alone, frail, and in poor shape. The man gently placed her in a cardboard box and made it his mission to get her the care she needed.
No one knew how long she had been out there, but he knew she couldn’t wait any longer.

When he reached out for help, Chatons Orphelins Montreal (a cat rescue) immediately responded and took the kitten into their care. She was dehydrated, struggling to breathe, yet somehow still had the strength to show an appetite.
“She pounced on the food because she was so hungry,” the rescue shared.

At the vet, they discovered she had a high fever and began administering fluids and medication. “The little girl responded really well to treatment. Her temperature returned to normal, and she quickly regained her strength.”
“She was incredibly lucky to have been found. In her condition, she wouldn’t have lasted much longer on her own.”

Once she was stable, the kitten moved in with a foster family who cared for her around the clock. With nourishing food, plenty of rest, and TLC, the kitten began to recover. “She’s been named Kaskett (a type of cap) because she has a spot on her head that looks like a cap.”
As her energy returned, she ventured outside her carrier, exploring her new surroundings. “She started to play and became more active every day.”

Kaskett quickly settled into her foster home, bonding with her caregivers and the other cats in the house. She especially loved playing tag, chasing her feline friends, and darting back after tapping them.
“At around three months old, she’s blossomed into a little explorer who purrs the moment you cuddle her.”

Playful and full of personality, Kaskett enjoys dashing after feathers, scaling cat trees, and spending time with her furry companions. “She adores life with other cats and seeks them out to play or be groomed.”
