When volunteers at the Stray Cat Club learned about a cat and a kitten found in a park, they stepped in to help.
The feline duo waited there until kind-hearted passersby noticed them. Starving, they devoured all the food offered to them. “They stayed by a park bench for 36 hours, according to dog walkers,” the Stray Cat Club shared.
The mother and son, Meg and Mog, were brought to the rescue, where a new chapter awaited them.

“Both are friendly and clearly used to human companionship. It’s heartbreaking to think they were abandoned, but this is their reality.”
Meg was very thin from not having enough to eat while nursing her kitten, who struggled with a cold and other health issues. Thanks to the volunteers, they received the medical attention they needed and finally got some well-deserved rest in foster care.

Soon after moving indoors, Meg came out of her shell, revealing her true personality.
“Meg has shown us just how resilient and loving she is. She is a shy girl at first, but don’t let that fool you. Once she’s completed her careful observations, she loves a good rub and curling up in a comfy spot for some quality hangout time.”

“She’s a prim and proper little lady who takes her meals seriously (her table manners are impeccable) and truly thrives in a peaceful environment.”
The foster family quickly noticed how much she appreciated human affection. With her kitten in good hands, she happily retired from motherhood, wanting nothing more than to spend time with people.

“With plenty of TLC, she has blossomed into the sweetest girl. She’s best suited as the only pet and is perfectly happy being an indoor cat—especially if she has a window ledge to watch the world go by.”
“She prefers affection on her own terms, but once comfortable, she’ll show her love in her own special ways.”

“She’s playful, adores her toys, and—most importantly—loves her food.”
“Every meal is a clean plate, and she’ll let you know it’s dinner time with affectionate head butts and leg rubs. While she enjoys snoozing right next to you, head scratches are only allowed by royal decree (on her terms, of course).”
