Woman Saves Tailless Kitten and Returns to Rescue His Sibling as Well
A Manx kitty was overjoyed to be back with his sister in their temporary foster home.
Jacqueline DeAmor, the creator of Friends for Life Rescue Network based in Los Angeles, was reached out to about a kitten with Manx syndrome, a genetic condition that affects some Manx cats. According to Jacqueline, the kitten initially hissed at her, but soon revealed his affectionate side by purring and seeking cuddles. With curly hair and a playful demeanor, Liam, as he was named, required urgent medical care and plenty of tender loving care.
A week later, Jacqueline came to know about another kitten facing similar health issues and in need of assistance – it turned out to be Liam’s younger sister, Amber. Without a second thought, Jacqueline welcomed Amber into her care.
Both siblings underwent separate treatments to aid their recovery. Liam responded well to the treatment and was able to join his foster family after a few weeks, while Amber continued to receive treatment for her infections.

Liam quickly formed a bond with a German Shepherd at his temporary home, becoming fascinated by the dog’s tail. The dog, in turn, constantly craved attention and love from those around him.
As soon as Amber recovered from her challenges and was back to full health, it was finally time to bring the two friends back together.
When Amber was introduced to the energetic kitty Liam, she had her doubts. However, Liam’s constant presence and playful antics eventually won her over. Denah Hoard, their foster mom, observed how quickly Amber bonded with both Liam and her resident dog, showcasing her easygoing nature.
